Hania for sale, two stone houses in Kefalas

In the traditional village of Kefalas there are two houses to be restored.

The village is located at an altitude of 352 meters; a privileged position overlooking both the White Mountains and the sea, while it has a strong architectural character that is quite well preserved. In the wider area there are communal wells from the time of the Venetians.

The village also hosts the Environmental Education Center of Vamos.

As you enter the courtyard you find the entrance to the first house on your right. There are 2 rooms. Via some outside steps you can get to the upper floor, which is of the same size like the downstairs. The front room has a small balcony offering the most amazing views to the imposing White Mountains. Going through the courtyard, which is on two levels you get to the second house. This house is on one level and consists of 2 rooms and a kitchen. The kitchen still has a traditional oven in there and features some traditional Cretan arches. The size of the two buildings is about 100 m2.

The property needs complete restoration

Challenging project;  it gives the possibility of unifying the 2 buildings and transforming them into an amazing traditional residence.

Kefalas has taverns, the Greek Kafenio and mini markets.

The small bay with the crystal clear waters of Omprosgialos is located at a distance of about 2 km
